What to Expect
Your first massage therapy appointment begins with filling out a health history. Please arrive a few minutes early before your appointment to fill it out.
The health history will ask about your medical conditions, areas of concern, your level of pain or discomfort, and your contact information. You will also be asked to sign forms that explain your right to privacy such as HIPAA Consent and Disclosure.
During your massage at Lubovich Chiropractic, P.A., you will lie on a massage table, covered by a sheet. We will make sure you are comfortable. Please let your therapist know if you are too cold or warm, or don’t want certain areas of your body massaged. Also, be sure to let your therapist know if the pressure they are applying is too firm or not firm enough.
At the end of the massage, the therapist will leave the room so you can dress in private. Take your time getting ready. Do not move too quickly especially if you feel light-headed.
The therapist will offer you a glass of water before you leave. It is a good idea to drink more water through out the day to help the body flush toxins that may have been stored in your muscles.
